Day Service

A wide range of activities and groups are delivered both at the Centre and in the Community.  They include relaxation, arts & crafts, new members group, music, discussion, computer, swimming, knit and stich, photography and focussed groups including Living Life to the Full and Self Harm Management.  A Duty Manager/Duty Worker is always on hand and can offer personal support to members.  A volunteer run café is available during opening times.

Out of Hours Service

The Orchard Centre offers a varied programme of activities that are updated each Month. Events are held each weekday evening and during the day at weekends. Many events are led by Volunteers and benefit from Service member involvement. Especially popular is the fortnightly Bingo sessions, organised by Volunteers and run as a social event and a fundraiser.

Early Intervention and Crisis Response Service (EICRS)

This service provides telephone and 1:1 contact for people with a mental health difficulty who are experiencing a non –medical crisis. An experienced worker will assist in any appropriate way to enable the person to find a solution to their issue.

If required, a worker will liaise with other agencies such has Housing, Emergency Social Work Service, Intensive Home Treatment Team and other emergency services. The caller may come into the centre if it is appropriate during the relevant opening hours to receive face to face support. The early intervention and crisis response service is open 363 days a year.
