STOCKBRIDGE DEVELOPMENTS

Zsofia our worker is planning new groups in the Stockbridge area to support mental health and wellbeing in the community.

Anxiety Management Course

Are you affected by mild to moderate anxiety?
Do you live in Stockbridge or surrounding areas?
Are you able to commit to 5 weekly group sessions?

  • Improve mental health and wellbeing;
  • Make gentle, positive life changes in a supportive group
  • Learn new self-management skills.

The course is specifically aimed at giving people the tools to cope with mild to moderate anxiety, recognising how it is holding them back and to identify self-help strategies for better mental health and wellbeing.

The course would be held on Tuesdays 10:30-12:30 for 5 consecutive weeks from 28th May 2019 in the Botanic Cottage with a follow-up session a month later.

Walk and Talk Groups

We are planning to launch local walking groups focusing on conversations around improving mental health and wellbeing.

The walks would be open to local residents and last up to one hour. Please get in touch to note future interest in the group or to volunteer as a walk leader.
