Information Station for Mental Health and Wellbeing
Are you struggling with your mental health, or perhaps trying to support someone else?
The Information Station for Mental Health and Wellbeing is a drop-in service where you can find out more about the advice, information and support that’s available to help you. We can offer:
- time, space and compassion – we’re here to listen to you
- self-help guides and resources for supporting mental health and wellbeing
- signposting to community-based groups and peer support
- support with enquiries and referrals
- useful contact details for relevant support services
The service is supported by a range of health and social care staff and peer support volunteers including:
- Local Area Co-ordination Team
- Health in Mind
- Public Health
- NHS Borders Wellbeing Service
- Red Cross
Sessions are currently available as follows:
- Duns – Duns Fare Share Café, Murray Street, Duns TD11 3DF, second Tuesday of the month, 12pm-2pm
- Kelso – Topiary Café, Mayfield Garden Centre, third Wednesday of the month, 10am–12.30pm
- Galashiels – ASDA Café, Currie Road, fourth Wednesday of the month, 10am–12.30pm
- Hawick – Heart of Hawick, Tower Mill, second Thursday of the month, 10am–12.30pm
- Peebles – Costa Coffee, High Street, second Wednesday of the month, 10am–12.30pm
No appointment is necessary.
