We offer a range of wellbeing courses and group drop-in sessions to support the mental health and wellbeing of people aged 18+ from ethnic minority communities in Edinburgh. 

These services are offered in a way that takes into account the additional barriers faced by ethnic minority communities like language and culture.

Our services are delivered either in person (in a variety of locations across Edinburgh) or online (on Zoom).

Wellbeing Toolkit

A free wellbeing course suitable for people from ethnic minority communities in Edinburgh who would like some help and peer support to manage their mental health and wellbeing. We cover a variety of self-help techniques and broader topics related to general mental wellbeing including how anxiety and stress affect us, prevention and coping skills, breathing exercises, mindfulness, personal boundaries. 

The course runs over 4 sessions.

Stress Management course

A free course which aims to support people from ethnic minority communities in Edinburgh who are experiencing stress to identify and manage their symptoms. Stress is a normal emotional response to difficult situations, and everyone experiences stress in their lives. However, we need to recognise when symptoms become too frequent, too intense or prolonged as stress affects people emotionally, physically and psychologically and can lead to anxiety and mood disorders. This course will support you to learn what stress is, what it looks like for you and how you can use techniques to build resilience. 

The course runs over 4 sessions.

Decider Skills course

This free wellbeing course offers an opportunity to people from ethnic minority communities in Edinburgh to explore a variety of practical, evidence-based strategies and techniques to enable them to play an active role in managing their mental health and wellbeing.

The course runs over 4 sessions.

Wellbeing drop-in group sessions

Drop-in sessions are for those aged 18 or over, from a minority ethnic community living in Edinburgh, who would like to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
