Who are the sessions for?

Are you feeling low, stressed, anxious or isolated? Our Women’s Wellbeing Service offers individual support for women, 18 years and over who are living in the South of Edinburgh. The support is for anyone looking to improve their wellbeing and build up good mental health habits through self-management and coping strategies. This is an LGBTQI+ friendly service.

What are the sessions like?

Sessions are relaxed and person-centred – meaning they are tailored around the topics that you would like to focus on. Through ten weekly sessions we will consider positive ways of coping with emotions, and provide a safe space to explore what wellbeing tools might work best for you.

When and where are the sessions held?

The service currently runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions can be hosted in person, over the phone or online via video call. In person sessions may take place in Gilmerton Community Centre or our office at Shandwick Place.
